Ninety-Two Falls #3: A Note For James Tenney (2007)
Ninety-Two Falls is a series-in-progress dealing with the motion of falling – a kind of catalogue of falling for one percussionist. The Ninety-Two Falls are going to be written for Arnold Marinissen, the percussionist who immediately saluted this project with enthusiasm. Fall #3 was written as an in memoriam for James Tenney, inspired by his postcard piece Having Never Written A Note For Percussion.
